In the movie “Batman Begins” (2005), after Bruce Wayne first test drives the desert-camouflage-colored Tumbler with Lucius Fox, Lucius asks Bruce, “So what do you think?” Bruce replies, “Does it come in black?”
I have so many mainline Hot Wheels Batmobiles that they no longer fit in the box I have for them. I haven’t blogged about many of them, so I’ve selected a few that aren’t black. All of them are from 2019.
The Justice League Batmobile shown below has a metallic gray metal body.
The TV Series Batmobile shown below has a metallic gray metal body, red tinted windows, red pinstripes, and dark gray flames.
The Batmobile shown below is a new casting. I do not know what movie, TV show, comic book, or computer game it comes from. This one has a blue plastic body.
The Dark Knight Batmobile shown below has a blue plastic body.
There have been quite a few weirdly colored Hot Wheels Batmobiles: a metalflake red TV Series Batmobile from 2016, a spectraflame green TV Series Batmobile from 2017, a pearl gold Dark Knight Batmobile from 2017, a spectraflame pink TV Series Batmobile from 2018, and so on. But I never expected the Batmobile shown below.
This is what you get when “The Brave and the Bold” Batmobile and the Mystery Machine have a baby together. (Note that the front right wheel is missing its gold paint.) This is perhaps the ideal Batmobile for The Rainbow Batman. (I got the image from here.)
